New Patients

All patients are reviewed regarding the possibility of surgery within the multidisciplinary tumour board meetings.

We have a team of specialist surgeons who are experienced in operating on NET patients. This includes minimally invasive (laparoscopic or “key-hole”) surgery.

Surgery is considered for all types of NET including e.g. intestinal, pancreatic and lung. Even if the tumour has spread to the liver we would consider whether there was benefit of liver surgery to remove as much tumour as possible, similarly for lymph node or even limited bone lesions.
